8 Easy Steps to Taking Care of Your Eyes

 


This is 21 st century, and life is very fast, especially in metros, everybody is busy nowadays, everybody is running after something, this busy lifestyle silently taking its toll on us. But we actually adapted this busy lifestyle and happily living our scheduled life without thinking that this might be an unhealthy life, this might cost something bigger that we are unaware of right now. Constant work and not taking care of our health is a common thing in big cities. While doing our scheduled daily work we have to be conscious about our health. We have to be selective for making time, for what is truly necessary and what is not because everything would be spoiled if we don’t have a good healthy body.

 

We all know in metros, life is not easy, pollution and busy life schedule slowly but deeply making us unhealthy. Unhealthy junk food is now added in our everyday meal. Big cities polluted air and poor, unhealthy eating habits constantly weakening our body. We must think twice about our body before going out for work, before eating anything. Don’t take your health for granted.

 

We must remember that a fit body and nutritious food is not luxury, it is a necessity.

Eyes are precious; vision is not a thing that we can ignore to maintain. Good vision is important for any work. We must take care of our vision because it helps us doing our work perfectly, and losing eyesight is a common problem nowadays.

 

 

You must take care of your eyes properly, so here are 8 steps for healthy eyes. These are the best way to keep your eyes fit and prevent from losing eyesight because prevention is better than cure.

 

EAT HEALTHY BALANCED DIET:

For healthy eyes, add 8 food items in your daily meal. Eat oily fish regularly, it will provide you with Omega 3 fatty acids which are very important to keep your retina moisturized and healthy. Oily fish — Salmon, Tuna, Markel, Sardine, and if you are a vegetarian then add peanuts, Cashew nuts, Walnut in your diet chart for such needs.

Add some antioxidants, choose vegetables and fruits that contain vitamin C and A. Try to eat more green vegetables for the requirement of antioxidant and select red or yellow colour veggies in your plate which is a great source of vitamin A. Red leafy veggies like red cabbage, carrot, red spinach, yellow vegetables such as pumpkin, and egg yolk is great food for your eyes.

 

DO EXERCISE:

For better eyesight, you must regular exercise as it helps in blood circulation. Blood circulation improves oxygen supply in every organ including eyes and also removes toxins from your body. Rolling eyes up and down and circular movements are great helpful to blood circulation in eyes, these are some eye exercise to keep your eyes fit.

 

WASHING:

Washing hands and hygiene maintaining is a must-follow rule. Don’t touch your eyes when your hand is not clean.

 

 

AVOID THESE THINGS:

Excessive consumption of antioxidants, alcohol, saturated fat, and smoking can create bad issues for your eyes. These are identified as help for increasing risk factor elements for health.

 

Avoid sunlight or bright digital devices screen. Always wear sunglasses when you go outside, it will protect your eyes from UV light.

 

Keep your computer or laptop at least 20-24 inches away from you and make sure your computer screen must be sited below eye level.

 

Use minimized glare on the devices screen and blink frequently it will keep your eye moisturized.

 

When working on the computer, take a break in every 20 minutes and try to look at some object for  20 seconds, which should be 20 fit away from you.
