Sometimes forgetting something is good for our life but if you are a forgetful person then its a trouble for you. Most of the people have often encountered trouble to remembering things at a time, that's why superior memory is a popular topic in fiction novels, movies and Tv shows, how we wish if we could have that fictional memory power. But who knows that super memory is a disease? yes it is. For some remembering is good and for some peoples it is no less becomes as nightmare. In literature world, there is a classic example of this disease, Mr.Jorge Luis Borges’ wrote a short story "Funes the Memorious", in which the main character suffers a head injury that results him the ability to remember everything in exquisite detail of life and it has also been featured in young adult books.

Super memory has been a plot point in the book House, and used to characters’ advantages on crime-solving TV shows, there are lots of examples we can see. This extraordinary syndrome of remembering every detail of life is called Hyperthymesia. This condition leads people to be able to remember an abnormally large number of their life experiences so with this Hyperthymesia one can exclusively get to the power to recall the events of their lives, as well as public events that hold some personal significance in their life no matter how many years have passed, the person can remember every detail thoroughly.

A study report says there are actually only 25 people known to have this brain power and these affected community says their memories behave just like they are going through an uncontrollable associations of events; if they trying encounter a date, they "see" a vivid depiction of that day in their heads without hesitation or conscious effort, it's flowing easily in their head and events are happened as slide show under the brain cortex. Three American neuro-biologists had made a study and research group for this unusual brain syndrome, they are Elizabeth Parker, Larry Cahill, and James MC Gauh.

In the year 2006, these peoples identified and defined characteristics of hyperthymesia, affected person spended an excessive amount of time thinking about one's past and then displaying an extraordinary ability to recall specific events from His/ her past days but this superior ability can be harmful for normal life, it actually can have a detrimental effect on the affected person mentally and physically also because these experiences could made the person exhausted. Those flow of irrepressible, constant stream of memories has already caused significant disruption to peoples life. They are small number of people who have cursed with this autobiographical memory but they are simple human like us.

The lady is prone to getting lost in remembering that can make difficult to attend to the present life and its also affects her future. She thinks she is permanently living in the past days of life but there are also others 24 who also have Hyperthymesia syndrome, but somehow they have managed to live life with it, they are good with what they have.
