We often think men are insensitive, they don't understand the pain which is more understandable for women. It is true men really can't get that intensity which a woman could understand easily. Recent research shows that actually men have less nerve receptor than women which cause them feel less the pain. The study shows that women have an average of 34 nerve fibers per square centimeter of facial skin and men have an average of 17 nerve fibers.credit: google
We thought that men are psychologically tougher than women when feeling pain. Now these findings illustrate that old thinking that women's lower pain tolerance and threshold are actually physical and it's totally natural.
